Laban based dance classes in West Dorset
Led by Wendy Hermelin – an experienced Laban Guild Tutor.
The sessions include free movement to great music, some simple exercises and structured creative tasks. All the work is based on Laban’s movement analysis. And we have fun.

Weekly Drop in Classes
From October 1st to December 10th, weekly in Studio 8 from 11:00 to 12:30, usually with live music. Payment up to £10 donated to a country in need – currently Ukraine and Afghanistan.
Class is taught by Viv Bridson assisted by Amy Mauvan and Noemi Laabaid
The class is for those who are trained or would like to be dancers, actors or performance artists. Viv does not teach Laban theory, rather, in the tradition of Jooss and Sigurd Leeder who developed their professional training from Laban principles, she uses her knowledge to structure the class and the material.
It is a drop in class but most people try to come as regularly as they can.
